Returns & Refunds Policy

At The Bearded Oak, we stand by the flavor and the fire. But if something’s not quite right with your order, we’re here to make it right. Below is our no-nonsense, fair-return policy for peace of mind.
1. Returns
Due to the nature of our products—especially perishable goods like smoked meats and homemade sauces—we generally do not accept returns on food items.
However, if your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or something's off, get in touch within 48 hours of delivery and we’ll sort it out fast.
For non-perishable items (like merch, accessories, or gear), you may return unused, unopened products within 14 days of receiving them. Just email us first so we can guide you through the process.
2. Refunds & Replacements
We’ll offer a refund or replacement under the following conditions:
The item was damaged in transit
You received the wrong product
The product was spoiled or inedible upon arrival (proof required)
You cancelled before shipping (see below)
We may ask for a photo of the issue to help us improve—and to keep things honest around the pit.
Refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days once approved.
3. Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled for a full refund if the order hasn’t been packed or shipped yet. Once it’s on the way, we can’t call it back.
For pre-orders or custom requests, please get in touch early if you need to cancel or change your order.
4. Shipping Costs
If your return is due to an error on our part (wrong item, faulty goods), we’ll cover the return shipping. For all other returnable items, shipping costs are your responsibility.
5. How to Start a Return or Claim

Order number
A description of the issue
Photos (if applicable)
We’ll get back to you within 1–2 business days to sort it out.
